Respiratory Disease Pathophysiology for RN and LPN

This intermediate-level course provides registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) with a comprehensive understanding of respiratory disease pathophysiology. Learners will explore the mechanisms underlying common and complex pulmonary conditions, including obstructive, restrictive, infectious, and vascular disorders. Emphasis is placed on linking pathophysiological changes to clinical presentation, assessment findings, and nursing implications. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to apply critical thinking in patient care and improve outcomes through early recognition and evidence-based interventions.
