Safe Patient Handling

This intermediate-level course prepares healthcare professionals to apply evidence-based safe patient handling and mobility (SPHM) principles across acute care, rehabilitation, long-term care, and outpatient settings. Participants will learn to reduce musculoskeletal injury risk, select appropriate equipment, perform risk assessments, mobilize patients safely, and foster a culture of safety within interdisciplinary teams.
