Behavioral Health Nursing Basics

This intermediate-level course provides nurses with foundational knowledge and practical skills in behavioral health nursing. Learners explore common psychiatric disorders, therapeutic communication techniques, crisis intervention, psychopharmacology basics, and trauma-informed care. Emphasis is placed on safe, patient-centered approaches across diverse care settings, including acute care, outpatient, and community environments.
