Basic Laboratory Values and Interpretation

This 4-contact-hour, self-paced course provides foundational knowledge of common laboratory values and their clinical interpretation for registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical/vocational nurses (LPNs/LVNs). Learners will develop skills to recognize normal versus abnormal lab results, understand underlying physiological implications, and apply findings to safe, effective patient care. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, early identification of abnormalities, and appropriate nursing interventions.
