Advanced Wound Care: Diabetic & Venous Ulcers

This advanced-level, asynchronous, self-paced continuing education course is designed for Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses. It provides an in-depth, evidence-based approach to the assessment, management, and prevention of diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) and venous leg ulcers (VLUs). Learners develop advanced clinical reasoning skills to differentiate wound etiologies, apply current guidelines, select appropriate interventions, and evaluate outcomes. Emphasis is placed on interprofessional collaboration, patient-centered care, and prevention of complications including infection and amputation.
